Hi!

Welcome to my blog. I document my adventures in travel, yummy things, and my lifestyle choices. Hope you enjoy!

B. B. Italia

Does anyone else have a never ending list of restaurants/food trucks/dessert bars/actual bars they want to try? Well SAME! It is my mission to try them all…and then go back again because usually the menu is amazing and I want more than one thing! Over the weekend Brice and I tried B. B. Italia and let me just tell you we were far from disappointed!

Let me just start with how welcoming and warm the atmosphere is. It feels like a classic mom and pop Italian restaurant with the food to match it. There is also a bar and an outdoor beer garden that looks perfect for sunday brunch (YES! they serve brunch, so expect a follow up blog). Our server was incredibly kind and happy to help me decide on which dish to choose. (Cause seriously I wanted everything!)

Okay now to the good stuff! While cheese is my truest food love, we opted to go for an appetizer we knew we couldn’t find anywhere else. Talk about heaven on earth, we ordered the Bacon Parmigiana. In Brice’s words, “It has ruined bacon for me” in the greatest way possible. It was a thick slice of bacon that was breaded and topped with marinara and cheese. I could only eat this forever!

For our main dishes we both ordered pasta, I went with my classic favorite Fettuccini Alfredo and Brice ordered the Carbonara. The second the dishes were set in front of us I knew we were in for another delicious course. The pasta tasted incredible, I could tell it was made from scratch, it was everything you want from a pasta dish. There was enough leftover to have as a full lunch the next day.

So anyone who knows me can say I love dessert. Well you bet on our date night we ordered tiramisu! It was the perfect portion for my already full stomach. Delicious to the last bite!

All in all I clearly recommend B. B. Italia! I will be returning!
